Your Privacy Choices

This page gathers every privacy control we offer in one place. Storybranch is small and our data practices are simple, so most choices work the same way: you tell us, and a human honors it. Full details on what we collect and why are in our Privacy Policy; California residents also have the rights described in our California Privacy Notice.
For any request on this page, email mike@sidequestapp.com from the address on your order or subscription (or tell us which address you used). We honor verified requests within the time required by applicable law — usually much faster.
Stop marketing email
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link — one click and you're out, immediately and for free. You can also email us the word "unsubscribe." Unsubscribing removes you from news and promotions; if you later become a customer, we may still send transactional messages such as order confirmations.
Opt out of advertising audiences
As described in our Privacy Policy, we may upload customer email addresses in hashed form to advertising platforms such as Meta or Google to show Storybranch ads to our subscribers and similar audiences. Some state laws treat this as "sharing" personal information for advertising. To opt out, email us with the subject line "Do not share my information" — we will exclude your address from all future audience uploads and request its removal from audiences already created.
Access, correct, or delete your information
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it entirely. Deletion removes your information from our systems and from our email provider's list. We may retain what the law requires us to keep (for example, records of a deletion request itself, and order records required for tax and accounting).
Cookies, analytics, and browser signals
This marketing Site does not run advertising cookies or trackers; our store at shop.storybranch.world uses the cookies Shopify needs for carts and checkout. If we add analytics, you can limit it through your browser's cookie settings or extensions. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where applicable law gives it effect: if your browser sends GPC, we will treat it as an opt-out of the sharing described above for that browser.
A note on what we don't do
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not collect information from children — the Site and store are for adults. We do not use dark patterns to make opting out harder than opting in, and this page will stay one email away from every choice we offer.
